CAPTURE COASTAL COMMUNITY PERCEPTIONS
Investigate stakeholder and citizen needs and perceptions of cultural ecosystem services provided by ecosystem-based protection measures.
Aim
Identify stakeholders’ needs, capture their perceptions about seagrass meadows, coastal erosion, cultural ecosystem services and benefits provided by ecosystem-based protection measures.
Methods
Qualitative semi structured focus group meetings and questionnaires with target groups. Use of Benefit Relevant Indicators to determine societal value of ecosystem services related to seagrass ecosystems.
Output
Report of key findings and strategy for ensuring the societal relevance.
