Investigate best practices for seagrass restoration adapted to Mauritius to support future restoration.

Aim

To support future seagrass restoration projects for coastal protection where applicable.

Methods

Best restoration methods will be reviewed. Common and abundant seagrass species in the area that can help reduce the effects of coastal erosion will be selected.

Output

Technical report on seagrass species and techniques best suited for restoration of nearshore disturbed seagrass beds for Mauritius.
